Who we are
Intelus Technologies is a partnership firm registered in India, GSTIN 27AAJFI9718C1Z8. Our registered address is 401, Fourth Floor, Tridal Park Villa, Lendra Park, Opposite Garden, Ramdas Peth, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440010, India.
For the personal data described here, we decide why and how it is used, which makes us the “Data Fiduciary” under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). You are the “Data Principal”.
What this policy covers
This policy covers our website, and the enquiries and conversations that follow from it by email, phone and WhatsApp. When we build or run a system for a client that handles that client's own customers' data, the client decides how that data is used, and our handling of it is governed by our agreement with them rather than by this policy.
What we collect
What you send us
- The enquiry form. Your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, your timeline and budget, and your description of the project. The form does not send anything to our website's server: it opens your own email app with a message already written, and we receive it only if you send that email.
- WhatsApp. Your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, and the messages and files you send us.
- Email and calls. Whatever you choose to tell us, and any documents you share while we scope or deliver work.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as passwords, bank or card details, health information or biometrics through the website. Please don't send them. If a project needs access to systems or data of that kind, we agree how it will be handled in writing first.
What the website records
- No analytics, no tracking. The site does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or tracking scripts, and it does not set cookies.
- Server logs. Like every website, the servers that host ours record basic technical details of each visit: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to keep the site running and secure, not to build a profile of you.
- Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address. Google's own privacy policy applies to that request.
If we add analytics or cookies in future, we will update this page before we do, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk through what you need.
- To prepare a proposal or quote.
- To deliver, support and invoice the work you engage us for.
- To keep the records Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not use your data for automated decisions about you, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you enquired.
Your consent
When you contact us and share your details, you are giving them to us for the purposes above, and that is the basis on which we use them. We use them only for those purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before, and we may still keep records the law requires us to keep.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate: website hosting, email, WhatsApp (operated by Meta), and the tools we use to store documents and keep records. They handle the data on our behalf and only for that purpose.
- Professional advisers such as our accountants and lawyers, where they need it to advise us.
- Authorities, where the law requires it or a lawful order compels it.
Where it is stored
Some of our service providers store data on servers outside India. The DPDP Act allows this except to countries the Government of India has restricted, and we will not transfer personal data to any country it restricts.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become a project: up to 24 months after our last conversation, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of the engagement, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Server logs: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see “Your rights” below.
How we protect it
We follow reasonable security practices, as the Information Technology Act, 2000 requires. Access is limited to the people at Intelus Technologies who need it for the work, the website is served over an encrypted connection, and the accounts that hold your data are protected. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal data does happen, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you, how we use it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correct, complete or update it.
- Erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
- Resolve a complaint through our Grievance Officer, below.
To use any of these rights, email hi@intelus.tech. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the website, and tell existing clients directly.
Grievance Officer
For questions about this policy, requests about your data, or complaints, contact our Grievance Officer. We will respond within 30 days.
