The problem

Mason ran four yards on WhatsApp groups and a whiteboard. Trucks idled waiting for a slot, SLA breaches were discovered after the fact, and no one could say where a trailer was without three phone calls.

What we built

  1. 01

Every move is a workflow step

Inbound, slotting, swap, and outbound became typed steps in a durable workflow with retries and timeouts. A move can't get lost in a chat thread because there is no chat thread.

  2. 02

    An agent on dispatch

The agent assigns slots against live capacity and SLA windows, and escalates the calls that still need a human — driver no-shows, damaged trailers — instead of trying to fake them.

  3. 03

A live map the supervisor trusts

Every trailer's position and state is on one screen, updated as steps complete. Breaches surface as they're about to happen, not in the next morning's report.

How we measured it

Manual dispatch actions per shift, SLA breach rate, and tracking accuracy against physical audits — the supervisor's dashboard is the same one we tuned against.
